Davidson, originally from Hawaii, is an urbanist and civic designer. She received her masters from MIT in city planning and has worked in the public sector at the local and state levels. In addition to working in the Boston Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, she led Massachusetts’s open data initiative to work for greater transparency and easily accessible information in government. Davidson is part of the Slate for Cambridge and hopes to increase affordable housing, make the city more bike friendly, and raise the Council’s accessibility to constituents.
