His election campaign follows a “no donations, no spending” policy, and he has criticized the city’s zoning policies for favoring large developers. A self-described “on/off activist,” Levy was one of 23 protesters who were arrested last December in a Boston protest against the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.
