Each Friday, The Crimson will compile a series of unique statistics about Harvard's sports scene. Welcome to the Magic of Numbers—without the problem sets. We'll do the math for you.

SHADES OF RED

0 — Turnovers committed by the Harvard football team last week in its 35-10 win over Lafayette.

4 — Turnovers that Cornell gave up–three of which came on fumbles–in its lackluster 21-12 win over Bucknell last week. The Crimson will host the Big Red this Saturday at noon.

3 — Number of different starting quarterback for Harvard in the last four games dating back to last season: senior Collier Winters, senior Andrew Hatch, and sophomore Colton Chapple.

170 — Yards senior tailback Gino Gordon gained on the ground against Lafayette last week.

LOOKING TO GET ON A ROLL

1 — Number of goals freshman Connor McCarthy scored in men’s soccer’s win over Holy Cross yesterday. It was McCarthy’s first collegiate goal.

11 — Number of goals the Crimson has allowed so far this season. Harvard has, in fact, shut out its last two opponents.

11 — Number of goals Harvard has scored so far this season. Scoring goals has been a concern for the Crimson this season as Harvard continues to look for a way to increase offensive output.
