A Harvard summer school student was stabbed at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Garden Street during a robbery early Sunday morning, according to an e-mail sent to summer school proctors by Dean of Students Christopher S. Queen.
According to the e-mail, two students were robbed at knifepoint by two suspects at the intersection early on Sunday, and the injured student was treated and is recovering from his injuries. The e-mail also said that both suspects were arrested by Cambridge Police soon after the attack.
In an e-mail sent to proctors living in the Quad, it was confirmed that the two summer school students involved in the robbery currently live in Pforzheimer House. The unidentified male who was stabbed suffered his injury in the left chest, and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for injuries described as “non life threatening,” the message said.
Proctors received notification of the incident early Sunday evening and were instructed to forward Queen's message on to their students.

According to a report that appeared in The Cambridge Chronicle on Tuesday, both of the suspects were drunk at the time of the attack. The suspects in the robbery were 24-year-old Eric Schwabe and 26-year-old Tristen Soledade of Billerica and Somerville, respectively, the report said.
The Chronicle's report did not relase the name of the two summer school students, though it did identify them both as 23-year-old males who were on their way back to the Quad from an event at Eliot House just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
The Chronicle cites police reports in detailing how the suspects ordered the victims to run away following the robbery. One of victims called 911 as they ran into Cambridge Common, the story says.
The story also says that the two suspects were apprehended a half hour later, according to police reports. Less than $200 was found on the suspects when police found them.
Cambridge Police Department spokesman Frank T. Pasquarello told The Chronicle that the victim has since been released from the hospital.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly referred to the victims of the robbery as drunk. In fact, The Cambridge Chronicle reported that the two suspects were drunk at the time of the incident. The Crimson regrets the error.
