Feb. 22

3:50 p.m. — Officer dispatched to Gund Hall to a report of a group of individuals sledding. Officers arrived and searched the area for the group with negative results.



Feb. 23

8:04 a.m. — Officer dispatched to Hollis Hall North to take a report of suspicious activity. Officer arrived and spoke to the reporting party who said that they observed an individual attempting to climb up the fire escape. The reporting party said that they spoke to the individual who said they were attempting to locate a friend. The reporting party said that they then left the area. Officer searched the area for the individual with negative results. Officer reports there were several screens that were damaged and lying on the fire escape. Operations was notified of the incident.



8:25 a.m. — Officer dispatched to a report of suspicious activity. Officer arrived and spoke to the reporting party who said that they found marijuana on the floor. Officer confiscated the marijuana.



Feb. 25

9:04 p.m. — Officers observed an individual that was known to be involved in previous incidents with the Harvard University Police Department. A field interview was conducted and the individual was run for warrants with positive results and placed under arrest. The individual was also issued a trespass warning for all of Harvard University property. Joseph Day, 24, was placed under arrest.



11:50 a.m. — Officers observed two individuals acting suspiciously at Dunster Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Officers approached the individuals who then abruptly walked away. One of the individuals then began screaming that they had a gun while clenching their fist and throwing their arms up in the air. Officers report the individual’s actions caused several people to flee the area in fear. Officers then placed the David C. Barton under arrest.



Feb. 29

8:32 a.m. — Officers dispatched to Maxwell Dworkin Building to a report that an individual that was known to have an active no trespass warning for all of Harvard University property was inside of the building. Officers arrived and located the individual. Once the individual observed the officers they attempted to flee the area. After a brief struggle, David R. Scrima, 47, was then placed under arrest.



5:07 a.m. — While en route to a call, officers observed an individual in the street screaming and waving their arms in an aggressive manner near the kiosk at 1400 Mass. Ave. The individual then stood in front of the officer’s vehicle and began to pound on the window and attempted to open the vehicle door. Officers exited the vehicle and the individual continued to yell in a confrontational manner. Christopher M. Meara, 36, was then placed under arrest.



March 2

2:31 a.m. — Officer dispatched to Claverly Hall to a report of the odor of marijuana. Officers arrived and searched the area with negative results.



March 3

12:53 p.m. — Officers were monitoring a demonstration at the Holyoke Center. Two demonstrators became confrontational and was acting in an aggressive manner toward one of the officers. Patrick Keaney, 38, and Lisa Nieves, 29, were then placed under arrest.



7:47 p.m. — Officers dispatched to Au Bon Pain to a report of an individual causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and located the individual. A field interview was conducted and the individual was run for warrants with positive results. David Fisher, 36, was then placed under arrest.
