11:40 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was dispatched to take a report of a stolen green and brown canvas bag that contained various hand tools valued at $500, an Ampro meter valued at $300, and a Fluke thermostat thermometer valued at $125.
March 13:
4:03 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to 1 Oxford Street to a report that a suspicious individual climbed the fence and entered the construction site. They arrived, located the individual, and a field interview was conducted. The individual was run for wants/warrants with negative results. Officers reported the individual is a worker in the area and has authorization to be there.
2:08 p.m.—Officers observed an individual known to them in the Akron Street Lot. The individual was run for wants/warrants with positive results. Donald Nickerson, 44, of Cambridge was then put under arrest. He was then was also found to be in possession of two credit cards that did not belong to them. Officers issued him a trespass warning for all of Harvard University property.
March 14:
1:21 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to a report of a gas powered motor scooter that was chained to a vent on the side of a building. Officers arrived and ticketed the vehicle.
6:20 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to take a report of an individual who collided with a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle. There was no damage done to the motor vehicle. The bicycle sustained damage to the front tire, braking mechanism, rear light, and gear mechanism. The individual refused any medical assistance.
9:29 p.m.—Officers took report of an individual in Weld Hall who received a suspicious instant message. The reporting individual did not respond to the message.
March 15:
3:33 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Dudley House to take a report of suspicious activity. The officer arrived and spoke to the reporting party who stated that during an event one member of a band began arguing with another member of a band. The reporting party stated that the individual then pulled a knife out of his pocket and placed it on the stage. Another individual who observed the incident instructed the individual to put the knife away to which he complied.
4:05 p.m.—Officers observed an individual known to them to have a trespass warning for all of Harvard University property. Officers stopped the individual and he was run for wants/warrants with negative results. Officers then placed David Scrima, 46, of Windham, N.H. under arrest for trespassing.
10:36 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Winthrop House to a report of a class D odor in the area. The officer arrived and reported that there was no suspicious odor and all was in order at the time.
March 16:
7:06 a.m.— Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity in Mather House, A entry. Officers arrived and spoke to the reporting party who stated that they observed an unknown individual in the mail room going through the mail. Officers searched the building for the individual with negative results.
8:14 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to a report that damage may have been done to a fence by what was reportedly a plow truck. An officer arrived and reports that there is no damage to the fence.
March 17:
8:52 a.m.—Officers observed two individuals acting suspiciously on Memorial Drive. Officers approached the two individuals who were smoking what appeared to be a Class D substance. Officers conducted a field interview with the individuals, who stated they were smoking a Class D substance. Each individual was run for wants/warrants with negative results and advised that criminal complaints may be sought against them.
