Feb. 21

9:33 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to Armenise Building 1 at 210-1 Longwood Avenue in Boston to take report of a stolen DIV-to-ADC computer adapter valued at $150, a computer power supply and a computer cable.



Feb. 22

12:00 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Dunster House Dining Hall to take a report of a theft. The officer arrived and spoke to the reporting party who stated that their unattended backpack that contained a white Apple MacBook laptop valued at $1,500 was stolen. The reporting party stated that on Feb. 19 they had located their backpack but the laptop was not inside.



Feb. 23

5:32 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to a report of loud music at Kirkland House. Officers arrived and advised the occupants of room G-34 to turn the music down.



6:43 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Widener Library to take a report of an assault. The officers arrived and spoke with the reporting party who stated that while they were exiting the building an individual passed by them and they “had words” with the individual. The reporting party stated that the individual then turned around and pulled their hair. Officers located the individual and they confirmed the situation. The individual was then run for wants/warrants with negative results. The individual then apologized and the two agreed not to have any contact in the future.



9:23 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Leverett House Towers to take report of a suspicious bag in the area. The officer arrived and reported that the bag was filled with trash and is not in fact suspicious.



Feb. 24

1:34 a.m.— Officers were dispatched to Leverett House Towers to a report of a group of individuals playing football in the courtyard. Officers arrived and sent the group on their way.

2:28 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Adams House to a report of an individual sleeping in the area. Officers arrived and reported that the individual was an affiliate and sent them back to their residence.



Feb. 25

1:08 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to a report of a loud party at Lowell House. Officers arrived and reported that there was a small gathering on the squash courts and the group was sent on their way.



1:11 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to a report of a flashing light on the second floor of Paine Hall, 3 Kirkland Street in Cambridge. The officer arrived and reported that the flashing light was in fact a light bulb and all is in order.



4:51 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to a report of an unwanted guest in Holyoke Center. Officers arrived and located the individual who was unconscious and breathing. The individual was known to the HUPD for having a trespass warning and they were run for wants/warrants with negative results. Officers attempted to wake the individual several times with negative results. The individual was then transported via ambulance to a medical facility and complaints may be sought against them.



Feb. 26

12:20 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to a report of an odor of class D at Winthrop House. Officers arrived, searched the area and report that there is no odor of class D in the area. At 1:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to the same location to a second report of the odor of class D in the area. Officers arrived and spoke to the reporting party who showed the officers where the odor was reportedly coming from. Officers report there was no odor of class D coming from that area.



11:25 p.m.— Caller reported smoke coming from a trash can at Leverett House Towers. Guard arrived and reported that the smoke was from a lit cigarette and they extinguished it themselves.
