One week after earning its first league victory at Colgate, the Harvard men’s hockey team returns home this weekend with the opportunity to further improve its standing in the ECAC, facing off against league foes Brown and Yale on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
While the Crimson (2-4-0, 1-4-0 ECAC) is currently tied for seventh in the league, its losses have come at the hands of some of the ECACs powerhouses, including St. Lawrence, Dartmouth, and Cornell, currently the top three teams in the standings.
This weekend may give Harvard a chance to make up some ground, as Yale (4-1-0, 1-1-0), also tied for seventh, and Brown (1-2-2, 0-1-1), in the 11th spot, represent the two lowest-ranked teams the Crimson has played to date.
