July 8:

4:44 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to remove an unwanted guest from a building. By the time they arrived, the individual had already left.

11:44 p.m.—HUPD officers investigated a suspicious odor in Adams House. The officers determined that the smell was gas from a burnt out stove pilot light that had gone out.

July 9:

12:07 a.m.—HUPD officers responded to a rare complaint of a loud party in apartments 62 and 64 on DeWolfe Street. The officers crashed and shut down the party.

2:45 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to the courtyard after receiving reports of a possible argument. Officers determined that the loud people were not arguing and asked them to be a little quieter.

3:27 p.m.—HUPD officers responded to a report of an Au Bon Pain employee arguing with a customer. After speaking to other employees, the officers determined that no argument had taken place.

July 10:

7:33 p.m.—HUPD officers responded to a report of a Peeping Tom. When they arrived on the scene, they did not find any suspicious persons peering through the windows.

10:52 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a person pestering pedestrians. The officers spoke to the individual and sent him on his way.

July 11:

5:06 p.m.—Officers responded to a report of a naked person in the park. When the officers arrived they found no aspiring nudists.

July 12:

5:30 a.m.—Officers were dispatched after a report of a suspicious brown paper bag left near a vehicle. When they arrived at the scene, they determined that the bag was, in fact, litter.

3:02 p.m.—HUPD officers were dispatched after a report that two individuals were stripping bicycles. The officers located the two strippers and confiscated several bicycles and bicycle parts. The officers will summons the two strippers into court.

5:22 p.m.—While an officer was investigating reports of possible vandalism of a bicycle cage, two individuals reported that their own bicycles had been stolen. The individuals described the bicycles as gray/black Cannondale F400’s valued at a total of $1,600.00. At 8:56 p.m. a third individual reported that his blue Trek Mountain bicycle valued at $320.00 had been stolen and the cable lock had been damaged.

5:34 p.m.—HUPD officers responded to a report of people impersonating law enforcement officers and wielding weapons. The individuals in question were shooting a movie and had permission.
