June 24:
3:27 a.m.—Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) responded to a call reporting an assault outside North Hall. The caller said the perpetrators were returning to continue the assault. Officers searched the area, but could not find the assailants.
8:22 a.m.—An officer was sent to Tosteson MEC in Roxbury after the theft of a gray Dell Latitude laptop computer, valued at $2,000.00.
June 25:
12:56 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to Weld Hall to respond to reports of a loud party. Upon arriving, the officer had the partyers quiet down.
1:50 p.m.—An officer reported to Hurlbut Hall to investigate the theft of a stolen Hewlett Packard Pavilion laptop computer, a backpack, and an Olympus digital camera, all valued at $2,325.00.
7:25 p.m.—Police noted a person “sleeping on the grass” by the side of 111 Western Avenue in Allston. The grass-sleeper was sent on his way with a no trespass warning for Harvard University property.
June 26:
1:46 a.m.—HUPD reported to Eliot House after receiving a report of “loud people in the courtyard.” After evaluating the scene, officers sent the noisemakers on their way.
4:42 p.m.—A civilian alerted an officer to a “suspicious person” in the parking lot at 18 Sumner Road. The officer located the person, and allowed him to depart without incident.
June 27:
6:54 p.m.—HUPD was dispatched to a Kennedy School party after a report of an “unwanted guest.” The unwelcome party-crasher had disappeared by the time officers arrived.
11:58 p.m.—After a late-night larceny, officers stopped a person who fit the description of the perpetrator. Officers checked the person for wants and warrants, but came up with negative results. Officers searched the person for stolen items, but found none. The person was released.
June 28:
2:14 p.m.—Officers were sent to Harvard’s Longwood Campus to take a report of an unusual letter that was received. The officers filed a report.
