—An employee of the Gap reported a black male in his twenties stole about 16 polo shirts worth about $472.

—At 5:25 a.m., a Williams Street resident reported that he met a male at a liquor store and both returned to his apartment. While in the apartment, the suspect pulled out a knife and stated that he wanted the $40 that he spent on liquor back or he would get “street” on him. The resident stated that they smoked “crack” and the suspect denied it. The resident also tried to proposition the suspect for sex.

April 3

—A resident of Cambridge stated that he was accidentally stabbed by his sister at 6:30 p.m. He was treated at a Cambridge hospital.

—A resident of Cambridge reported that at 7:30 p.m. on April 1, the suspect (who was the father of reporting person’s children) closed the car window on her hand and backed up after she told him he could no longer use the motor vehicle. The suspect fled with her motor vehicle—a black 2001 Nissan Pathfinder.

April 4

—A construction manager for Cambridgeside apartments reported that unknown persons forced the door to the media center and removed a 52” plasma television valued at $11,000.

—At 9:11 p.m., Porker Park resident reported that a suspect known to him had been sending annoying and insulting text messages to his cell phone.

April 5

—At 1:55 a.m., an employee at the Store24 at 321 Broadway stated that two black males (both in their teens, approximately 5’6” tall, wearing dark clothing and masks) entered the premises and one produced a black semiautomatic handgun. Both suspects then jumped over the counter and removed the money from the register as well as ten dollars from a customer. The suspects then fled on Broadway.

—At 1:10 a.m., Cambridge Police Department officer investigating a report of gunshots in the area of 232 Norfolk St. found a red Volkswagen parked at 245 Norfolk St. with a side window broken. Officers searched the area; there was no evidence of gunshots. The owner of the motor vehicle was notified and reported that his iPod was missing from the motor vehicle. Based on a description, seven males were identified and stopped. Some of the suspects had tools: wirecutters, hammer, screwdrivers, brick, and a pipe. Charges may be pending.

April 6

—At 10 a.m., citizen reported malicious destruction and larceny from her office. They have reason to believe the cleaning company is responsible.

April 7

—At approximately 8:20 p.m., a resident of Sixth Street reported that she was struck by a taxi as she attempted to enter the taxi while at 100 Cambridgeside Plaza. The reporting person complained of an injured left arm. The taxi driver fled the scene.

—A resident of Rice Street reported that an unknown male was looking at her through her first floor apartment window. The suspect fled the area when she yelled at him.

April 8

—At 8:40 p.m., resident of Middlesex Street reported that she heard a “pop” and noticed two holes in her living room windows.
