March 4:
12:40 p.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to Holmes Hall to investigate a suspicious package that was thought to have been related to a scam involving purchasing land out of this country.
1:57 p.m.—An officer reported to Widener Library in order to check on a suspicious suitcase. The responding officer was unable to find the mysterious item.
7:26 p.m.—Both HUPD and Boston Fire responded to North Hall, 6 Soldiers Field Park in Allston because of a report about unknown smoke in the building. The officers found burnt popcorn in room 117.
March 5:
1:35 p.m.—Officer dispatched to Malkin Athletic Center (MAC) in response to the theft of cash and a credit card, which had been left unattended and unsecured. The credit card was discovered to have been used fraudulently after the theft, resulting in a total loss of $471.47.
March 6:
2:20 a.m.—Officers were sent to Quincy House because of a report about two people causing problems at a party. It was determined the two allegedly disruptive people were not affiliated with Harvard and were swiftly removed from campus.
3:39 a.m.—HUPD officers were dispatched to the Owl Club to assist Cambridge Police Department (CPD) in the search for a suspect who was believed to be armed with a knife. The responding officers were unable find the suspect.
6:20 a.m.—Officers responded to Mather House in the search for a person who had allegedly jumped over the fence. A search proved unsuccessful.
March 7:
1:43 a.m.—An officer reported to Sanders Theatre because of a report about the theft of a white mountain bicycle and black Kryptonite lock, valued collectively at $540. The victim had left the bicycle locked only to itself and it was taken from the exterior rear of the building.
2:06 a.m.—Officers were sent to Adams House to investigate a report about two people allegedly vandalizing a bicycle. The responding officers searched the area with negative results, although they did find an individual in the area who checked out “OK.”
March 8:
5:25 a.m.—An officer responded to Vanderbilt Hall in order to assist security in shutting off an alarm within an unoccupied room.
