Feb. 4:
11:45 a.m.—An Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to Blackstone Building on 46 Blackstone St. on a report of a “suspicious incident” where people took pictures of Harvard buildings on Harvard property.
11:12 p.m.—In conjunction with the Cambridge Police Department (CPD), HUPD officers investigated a report of an alleged assault at 45 Mount Auburn St. CPD ultimately took over the scene.
Feb. 5:
1:58 a.m.—Officers responded to Adams House because of complaints about two people allegedly rifling through peoples’ jacket pockets at a party. The officers were unable to locate the perpetrators upon arrival.
7:34 p.m.—HUPD officers assisted in the search down Bow Street and Arrow Street for a suspect wanted for his alleged role in a robbery. Police officers from CPD and Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) assisted in the capture of the suspect, who was ultimately turned over to MBTA.
Feb. 6:
1:27 a.m.—An officer on duty observed two people fighting on the street, with a crowd of spectators gathered at 25 Holyoke St. Back up units were called for and upon police arrival, the two people involved in fight had fled. The officers then dispersed the gathered crowd.
3:32 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to Adams House on a report of a stolen blue Univega Rover Mountain, taken from a bicycle rack outside the dorm. The stolen item was valued at $200.
Feb. 7:
8:53 a.m.—Officer dispatched to the Malkin Athletic Center to report a stolen, black Velcro wallet—there was nothing of monetary value within it.
Feb. 8:
12:35 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Leverett House and its surrounding area to search for a person who had earlier piggybacked into the building. The officers searched with negative results.
1:26 a.m.—HUPD officers met up with CPD at 29 Newbury St. with regards to an affiliate allegedly being assaulted off-campus. A report was filed.
2:07 a.m.—An officer was sent to Lowell House to investigate the scent of gas. The officer determined there was no such odor but did detect the scent of something recently painted.
Feb. 9:
8:04 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to the Kresge Building on 677 Huntington Ave. on a report that a person was repeatedly walking up and down the sidewalk in front of the building. The pacing perpetrator was gone upon police arrival.
5:24 p.m.—HUPD officers reported to Murray Center on complaints that a person was yelling at walls. The officers encountered the yeller and determined he was actually on a cell phone connected to an earpiece.
Feb. 10:
12:03 a.m.—Officers were sent to Soldiers Field Park for a second time on a report of loud music that had actually been turned up since the officers had left the first time. Police shut down the party this time.
7:36 p.m.—On reports of a person acting “hysterically” in front of Sever Hall, HUPD officers were dispatched to the area.
