HARVARD ON SHUFFLE

Ansel Witthaus ’06 may be best known as the (in)famous Bacchus from Lowell Bacchanalia. He moonlights as a Lowell Psych concentrator from Washington, MO. We sat him down, set his iPod on shuffle and recorded his reactions.

1. Apocalyptica—“Sanitarium (Welcome Home)”

This group is awesome! They play metal on four cellos. I saw them in concert earlier this semester and they are even better live. They started out covering Metallica, and those covers are their best.

2. Enya—“Wild Child”

Well, that’s embarassing. Let’s pretend like that didn’t happen. Enya is a good thing to fall asleep to, I guess.

3. The Flaming Lips—“Do You Realize?”

This is from the Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Album…by far their best album, although the title track and Fight Test are much better songs than this one. I got really into the Flaming Lips two summers ago.

4. Dane Cook—“My Son Optimus Prime”

This isn’t a song, but Dane Cook is just hilarious…by far my favorite comedian. If you haven’t heard anything from him, you definitely need to.
