Jan. 17:
4:18 p.m: Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officers dispatched to Winthrop House in response to reports of a barrel fire, to which Cambridge Fire Department responded also. The caller extinguished the fire before the officers arrived on the scene. The property sustained damages to a window and an entryway door.
Jan. 18:
12:13 a.m.: An officer responding to an “alarm call” noticed a screen on a window had been sliced at a building on 9 Travis St. in Allston. The officer searched the building for intruders and the accumulated snow for foot tracks with negative results.
9:46 p.m.: An HUPD officer was sent to 20 Prescott St. on a report of the theft of a security deposit of $300.00 for an apartment rental.
Jan. 19:
8:17 a.m.: Officer was sent to Mass Hall on a report of someone receiving a harassing voice mail.
10:18 a.m.: Officer dispatched to 219 Western Avenue Lot in Allston to report a hit-and-run with property damage. The hit, parked vehicle sustained a “minor dent.”
Jan. 20:
1:43 a.m.: HUPD officers were sent to Quincy House on complaints of a large group of people being loud. Upon arrival, the officers ended a ball game being played in the courtyard.
11:46 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to Greenough Hall in response to a report of a harassing phone call.
