Feb. 2:
Time: 11:19:17 a.m.—Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officers were sent to Cabot House to investigate a report of a male in a third-floor ladies’ restroom. The suspect fled the building. A search of the area proved negative. Police described the suspect as a male in his 20s, wearing dark blue jeans, an olive-green hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana around his face.
3:32:05 p.m.—HUPD units helped apprehend and arrest three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier that day in east Cambridge.
Feb. 3:
12:39:42 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Holyoke Center to remove an unwanted guest from the events office.
11:15:59 p.m.—An officer was sent to Canaday Hall to take a report of a stolen laptop.
Feb. 4:
2:00:54 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to the bike rack by Wigglesworth Hall to investigate a suspicious individual. Police arrested Theodore Pappadopoulos, 40, of Cambridge for trespassing.
9:31:47 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Lehman Hall to take a report of a stolen painting.
Feb. 6:
9:31:17 a.m.—Officers were sent to Morgan Hall to investigate a report of a powdery substance found in the mail. Environmental Health & Safety and the Boston Fire Department responded. After investigation, they deemed no safety hazard was present.
9:48:29 a.m.—A HUPD officer was sent to the Science Center to remove an individual sleeping in the Greenhouse Cafe.
Feb. 7:
1:38:19 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to University Health Services (UHS) to take a report of an unruly patient. The officer reported the patient is now fine.
3:24:38 p.m.— HUPD officers were sent to Widener Library after hearing a report of a shot being fired. After a thorough check, officers were unable to find anything in the area of Widener Library. Library communications received a call from Sprint Relay, but were unable to obtain caller information through Sprint.
