Dec. 14:

12:58:54 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to Straus Hall to investigate the alleged use of a Class D substance (marijuana). After investigation, the officer determined the report was unfounded.

Dec. 15:

8:20:31 a.m.—An officer was sent to Quincy House to take a report of a burglary. The officer reported the bottom half of the door to the police substation appeared to have been kicked in. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Dec. 17:

7:21:43 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Areeda Hall on a report on suspicious ladders in the area. Security called to report they found the ladders belonged to the cleaners.

Dec. 18:

1:16:29 a.m.—HUPD officers assisted Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers on a report of domestic disturbance at 96 Prescott St. CPD arrested one party on an active warrant.

Dec. 20:

2:47:23 a.m.—Officers were sent to Eliot House F Entry on a reported lockout. Officers found individuals attempting to gain unauthorized access. They sent the individuals back to Winthrop House.

Dec. 21:

12:44:21 p.m.—Officers responded to a report of a suspicious individual walking away with a bike. Officers stopped the individual and identified the party as the owner of the bicycle.

Dec. 22:

2:00:07 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Au Bon Pain on Mass. Ave. to remove an intoxicated street person from the restaurant.

10:33:06 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to Au Bon Pain on Mass Ave. on a medical call. An individual was located in the restroom and transported to Cambridge City Hospital for treatment. On Dec. 31, criminal complaints were filed against Richard Hardiman, 37, of Brockton for possession of Class A and Class D substances.

Dec. 23:

11:02:35 a.m.—Officers responded to a report of an individual outside Tosteson Medical Education Center peeling an apple with an excessively large knife. Officers checked the area and reported the individual was gone on arrival.

Dec. 27:

12:14:14 a.m.—Officers were sent to Peabody Terrace to investigate a report of a woman screaming. The caller stated it sounded like a fight was in progress. Officers confirmed the noise to be a child crying.

Dec. 29:

3:33:13 p.m.—An HUPD officer took a report of a past assault. The report is being filed as a counter complaint that relates to the assault incident reported on Dec. 6.

Dec. 30:

8:11:17 a.m.—A caller reported an unknown female sleeping in the basement in Mather House. Officers found no one on arrival. Ten minutes later, an officer was sent to Adams House on a report of a female sleeping in the tunnel. After a field interview, the officer issued the women a trespass warning for all Harvard property.

Dec. 31:

3:24:05 a.m.—An officer was sent to Grays Hall on a report of a strange drilling noise in the building. The officer reported the noise was emanating from the mechanical room. Facilities Maintenance Operations was notified and report they believe it is air in the system.

Jan. 2:

6:50:17 p.m.—Officers were sent to Louie’s Superette to assist in the search of a suspect wanted for armed robbery of the store.

Jan. 3:

1:04:58 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Business School parking lot on Western Avenue to take a report of a stolen gray 1992 Honda Accord.
