Jan. 5:

12:44:22 p.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to the Kennedy School of Government to investigate a report of suspicious letter. The letter contained photocopied news articles. The officer impounded the letter to HUPD.

Jan. 6:

2:12:05 a.m.—Officers were sent to the Mather Lowrise on a report of a fire alarm. Facilities Maintenance Operations (FMO) reported that there was a sink left running in a janitor’s closet. A fire extinguisher and a recycling sign had been taken off the wall.

Jan. 7:

4:17:10 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Holmes Hall to take a report of a stolen ATM card and the fraudulent use of it.

Jan. 8:

10:23:06 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to 60 Oxford St. on a report of a vehicle leaking gasoline. Cambridge Fire officials responded and sprayed solution to neutralize the gas.

Jan. 9:

10:28:36 p.m.—Officers arrested Ryan T. Buckley, 26, of Dorchester, for urinating in public, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest on the Holyoke Center ramp.

Jan. 10:

9:06:19 p.m.—Officer were sent to Harvard Yard on a report of a woman being groped from behind. The suspect fled on bicycle out of the Yard. A check of the area by police proved negative.

Jan. 11:

7:13:20 p.m.—An officer responded to a report of a water leak with flooding at Sanders Theater. FMO and Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers reponded and filed a report.

Jan. 12:

1:18:31 a.m.—An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Harvard Advocate. The officer reported that the outer door had been forced open, but a check of the building turned up negative.

Jan. 13:

1:51:13 p.m.—Snell Victor, 38, of Lynn, Mass., was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for a larceny committed on Oct. 31.

5:14:36 p.m.—Officers responded to 63 Mt. Auburn St. on the report of an assault. A victim reported that she was groped and that the suspect fled towards the Holyoke Center. HUPD, CPD, MBTA police and area security officers check the area with negative results.

Jan. 17:

4:33:21 p.m.—A HUPD officer was dispatched to the Agassiz Museum to take a report of graffiti written in a bathroom.
