6:43:30 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to the Inn at Harvard to investigate a report of a suspicious package. The officer determined the package was safe.
3:17:10 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Mather House to remove skateboarders from the courtyard. They escorted the parties off the property. The offending skateboarders reappeared but were removed again an hour later.
May 5:
12:14:09 p.m.—An officer responded to Pennypacker Hall to take a report of an identity theft.
May 6:
1:14:59 a.m.—An HUPD officer arrested 39-year-old Scot D. Marshall-Pryde of Cambridge on an active warrant at Conant Hall.
2:34:49 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to check on the well-being of an unattended child. The officer transported the child to HUPD headquarters to be picked up by a parent.
May 7:
9:38:08 a.m.—An officer was sent to Eliot House to take a report of a stolen chair and dishware.
9:37:11 p.m.—HUPD officers responded to a report of smoke in the area of Dunster House. Officers determined that the smoke had been caused by a flood in the basement. Facilities Maintenance Operations was called to the scene and workers repaired the problem.
May 8:
4:39:28 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Dunster House on a report of a person acting suspiciously. After discovering the individual had default warrants, officers placed Allston resident Anthony Deltorto Jr., 47, under arrest.
12:22:08 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to Weld Hall on a report of a chemical spill. Environmental Health and Safety was notified and responded to supervise a clean-up.
6:37:59 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Thayer Hall on a report of students barbecuing too close to the building. The officer requested that they move farther away from the building. Less than two hours later, an officer reported back to the same location. The students agreed to stop barbecuing.
May 9:
2:34:33 a.m.—An HUPD officer responded to a report of a an individual screaming on Mass. Ave. The Cambridge Police Department was notified and officers searched the area.
May 10:
12:38:34 p.m.—An officer determined that a burning smell observed at 2 Mt. Auburn St. was coming from someone cooking.
7:51:29 p.m.—An officer was sent to Holmes Hall to take a report of an attempted breaking and entering.
8:00:56 p.m.—HUPD officers assisted Boston Public Works with a dead animal in the roadway on Boylston Ave.
