10:27:23 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to 643 Huntington Ave. on the Medical School campus to take a report of graffiti on the building.
Dec. 1:
2:30:06 p.m.—An officer took a report of vandalism at Weld Hall.
2:50:42 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Science Center to take two reports of several items stolen from an office.
5:11:34 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to Kirkland House to take a report of a stolen bicycles.
Dec. 2:
1:14:34 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Apley Court on a report of a missing person who was reported to have been assaulted and had their cell phone stolen. Officers made contact with the person and it was confirmed that the person was not assaulted but that their cell phone had been stolen between New York and Washington.
3:42:17—Officers were sent to assist Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers with a report of a theft in progress to a motor vehicle at Gutman Library. A search of the area turned up negative.
Dec. 3:
12:12:39 a.m.—HUPD officers were dispatched to Wigglesworth Hall on a report of individuals streaking in the Yard area. Officers checked the area with negative results.
8:15:29 a.m.—Officers were sent to 44 Brattle St. on a report of suspicious activity. A person reported that there was a rodent poison packet mixed in with hot chocolate packets in a public drawer in the party’s office. Police said yesterday they believe the placement of the poison was intentional and the incident is under investigation.
10:06:35 a.m.—An officer who was dispatched to the Middle Eastern Studies building on Mass. Ave. reported radical propaganda flyers at several locations throughout the building.
Dec. 4:
1:04:00 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to the Holyoke Center to take a report of $60 cash stolen from a wallet.
Dec. 5:
8:02:45 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Au Bon Pain on Mass. Ave. on a report of two parties yelling at each other and refusing to leave the area. Officers conducted a field interview, checked the parties for warrants and sent them on their way.
Dec. 6:
1:37:53 a.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to 10 DeWolfe St. to assist Cambridge Fire Department officials with a report of a party throwing a snowball at an unmarked fire vehicle.
11:37:15 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Harvard Yard on a report of a Harvard undergraduate who was assaulted. Officers determined that the two suspects, who were not Harvard affiliates, were still in the Yard, according to HUPD spokesperson Steven G. Catalano. A warrant check turned up negative. The victim reported that the two suspects forcibly pushed him into a snowbank. The victim sustained minor lacerations. Officers issued both parties trespass warnings and sent them on their way. HUPD will assist the victim in pressing charges, Catalano said.
