9:15 p.m.—The Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) dispatched an officer to investigate a suspicious individual at the Graduate School of Education’s Gutman Library. The officer arrested Junior Nile, 42, of Boston, for trespassing.
March 22:
6:05 a.m.—An officer took a report of vandalism at the Freshman Dean’s Office. Damage to the front door lock left it inoperable.
March 23:
5:11 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Peabody Terrace after receiving reports of youths harassing graduate students in the laundry room. The suspects were gone upon the arrival of HUPD.
6:20 p.m.—Officers issued trespass warnings to two individuals at Haskins Hall, a University housing complex, and then escorted them off the property.
March 24:
3:05 a.m.—An officer filed a report of stolen clothing at Haskins Hall.
5:21 p.m.—An officer investigated a damaged table at Soldiers Field Park and filed a report of the vandalism.
March 25:
5:17 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at Shad Hall, an athletic facility at the Business School.
5:19 p.m.—After receiving reports of suspicious activity at Areeda Hall at the Law School, an HUPD officer searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect.
March 26:
9:17 a.m.—An officer took a report of illegal entry into a computer account at the Kennedy School of Government’s Taubman Center.
7:06 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Business School’s South Hall to remove an unwanted guest. The officer arrested Wright Veda, 53, of Cambridge, for trespassing.
March 27:
12:31 a.m.—An officer received reports of an unwanted guest at the Science Center. A search for the individual came up negative.
March 28:
12:05 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to William James Hall to speak with a suspicious individual. After conducting a field interview, the officer learned that the suspicious person was authorized to be in the building.
3:22 p.m.—An officer investigated a burglary at the Design School’s Gund Hall, where a laptop bag—containing a CD player, credit cards and a cell phone—was stolen.
March 29:
3:37 p.m.—An officer filed a report of a wallet stolen from Widener Library.
4:39 p.m.—An officer filed a report of a wallet stolen from Au Bon Pain.
March 30:
3:29 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen purse at Dunster House.
8:01 p.m.—After receiving reports of a marijuana odor, an officer was dispatched to Quincy House to investigate. HUPD decided the complaint was unfounded.
9:09 p.m.—An HUPD officer at Au Bon Pain arrested David Strachan, 24, of North Reading, for assault and battery.
