1:40 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer investigated a broken window at Currier House.
3:58 a.m.—HUPD and the Cambridge Fire Department (CFD) investigated a fire on the 11th floor of Mather House. A student extinguished the fire before CFD units arrived. Colin S. Donnelly ’03 and James M. Carter ’02 were charged with arson.
2:42 p.m.—An officer was sent to a Yard dorm after receiving a report of a threatening e-mail.
March 4:
1:37 a.m.—An officer took a report of a broken window at 20 Dewolfe St.
8:55 p.m.—Officers removed an unwanted guest from the Science Center.
March 5:
6:17 a.m.—Officers stopped a suspicious individual in the men’s room of Gordon Hall. After a field interview, the individual was issued a trespass warning.
11:46 a.m.—An officer took a report of a burglary at Quincy House.
March 6:
9:41 a.m.—After receiving reports of a suspicious individual, officers were dispatched to Coolidge Hall, where they issued the individual a trespass warning.
5:20 p.m.—Officers took a report of two burglarized lockers at the Quadrangle Athletic Center.
6:22 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at the Faculty Club.
March 7:
12:02 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Currier House to take a report of fraudulent use of a security code.
3:02 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Kennedy School of Government after a report of a vandalism-in-progress to a parking lot gate.
The suspects fled the scene but were later stopped by police and issued trespass warnings. HUPD charged Doug Clark, 19, of Bedford, with malicious destruction of property under $250.
March 8:
6:41 am.—An officer took a report of burglary to a cash register at the Barker Center.
8:34 a.m.—An individual reported a stolen credit card and driver’s license at the Goldenson Building.
10:53 p.m.—An officer conducted a field interview with a person inside a Science Center classroom after-hours. HUPD found the individual was an employee and authorized to be in the building.
March 9:
3:02 a.m.—An officer received reports of two people who jumped over a fence into the Winthrop House courtyard. After a brief investigation, the officer learned that the individuals were guests of a student.
8:15 a.m.—An officer took a report of vandalism at Lamont Library involving damage to a book chute.
7:36 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Adams House to take a report of a past rape. No further details were available because the investigation is still in progress.
10:39 p.m.—Upon receiving noise complaints, an officer was dispatched to Leverett House, where a brief investigation revealed that a student play was about to end in the dining hall. The officer left the scene.
