July 23:
2:41 a.m.—Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officers were dispatched to a report of three unwanted males in Wigglesworth Hall. Two individuals were checked for warrants and after negative results, all three were issued trespass warnings.
July 24:
11:12 a.m.—A HUPD officer conducted a field interview on a suspicious person on JFK Street. After a warrant check, the individual was sent on his way.
1:18 p.m.—Jorge Samuel Rason-Altal, age unknown, of Cambridge was arrested for an outstanding warrant after walking into the HUPD station.
July 26:
11:35 p.m.—The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) arrested Jose Fontanez, age unknown, for Class A drug possession with intent to distribute.
8:06 p.m.—HUPD officers stopped a suspicious person in Harkness Commons. After conducting a field interview, the officers sent the individual on his way with a trespass warning.
July 27:
11:40 p.m.—CPD officers responded to an assault in the Harvard Square “Pit” after four suspects attacked a young man. The victim, who suffered injuries to his face and head, was transported to a hospital.
July 28:
11:48 a.m.—Michael Haulin, a Cambridge-area business owner, reports that John Hose attempted to steal a can of sardines. When confronted, Hose allegedly tried to choke Haulin.
8:52 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to the Osco quarry on the Longwood campus on a report of possible gunshots. HUPD determined the noise to be fireworks.
August 1:
9:00 a.m.—William Senibaldi, age unknown, was arrested at Inman Square for Class E drug possession with intent to distribute.
9:30 a.m.—Gilberto Aponte, Michael Spears, and Seanna Donlon were arrested at 820 Mass. Ave. for Class A drug possession with intent to distribute.
10:35 a.m.—John Orlando, age unknown, was arrested for Class D drug possession.
11:30 a.m.—Peter Lumenello, age unknown, was arrested on Binney St. for Class D drug possession.
8:00 p.m.—John Griffin, 24, was arrested by CPD for trafficking Class B drug possession within 100 feet of a park, assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace, littering, resisting arrest and identity fraud.
August 2:
8:43 p.m.—Theodore Babbitt, 18, was arrested by HUPD at 52 Mt. Auburn St. for Class A drug possession.
