June 26:

2:45 p.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer conducted a field interview outside the Science Center on an individual fitting the description of a previous incident. The individual was sent on his way after a warrant check proved negative.

4:53 p.m.—HUPD officers dispatched to a report of a group assembling and demonstrating across the street from the building at 124 Mt. Auburn Street. Officers found students from the Progressive Student Labor Movement (PSLM) demonstrating against Boston Properties.

June 28:

10:45 p.m.—The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) reported a Norwood resident was assaulted and hit in the back of the head by an assailant in the Harvard Square Pit. The victim suffered lacerations to the back of the head and facial bruising but refused medical treatment.

June 29:

2:27 a.m.—HUPD responded to a report of a burglary in progress near Mather House. After arriving at the scene, officers placed Thomas Russo, 23, of Medford under arrest for burglary. CPD records indicate a resident of the area stopped Russo as he was allegedly cutting a window screen.

1:30 p.m.—CPD arrested Dvora Diggs of Dorchester during a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license. Officers stopped Diggs after she allegedly made an illegal left turn from Mass. Ave. onto Prospect Street.

2:35 p.m.—HUPD officers removed an unwanted individual from the Dental School. The individual was issued a no trespass warning.

3:50 p.m.—CPD arrested John McElroy, age unknown, of Boston, for allegedly drinking beer from a paper cup in public.

June 30:

2:00 a.m.—HUPD detained three suspicious persons at Dunster House. After a field interview and a warrant check, two were sent on their way. Officers placed Muthukrishn Ramakrisnan, 26, of Los Altos, California, under arrest for class ‘b’ drug possession, marijuana possession, and trespassing.

July 3:

6:55 p.m.—CPD officers responded to a complaint of shoplifting at HMV Records in Harvard Square. Christopher Guay, age unknown, of Boston was arrested for shoplifting over $100.

July 4:

4:19 p.m.—Jonas Cardim was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon. The alleged weapon was a shoe.

10 p.m.—A man reported that while walking on Cambridge Parkway he had been struck in the face with a bottle thrown by a suspect known to him from the Harvard Square area.
