August 4
5:05 p.m.--A Stoughton Hall student reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) that she lost her wallet. An officer was dispatched to take a report. Upon arrival, the officer stated that the student was not home and left a note on the student's door.
Eddie Cheng from the Pu Pu Hot Pot reported to the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) that an unknown person kicked open a door to the establishment. Once inside, cash was taken from the register as well as a safe totaling approximately $1000. The business was ransacked; seafood and checks were also taken.
August 5
1:48 a.m.--HUPD received two calls on an apparent drunk male wearing a black shirt and tan pants yelling into rooms in the area of Thayer Hall. Units were sent to investigate. Checks of the area were made with negative results.
4:09 a.m.--A caller to HUPD reported two suspicious individuals in the stacks. Officers were dispatched to check in the building, but the suspected persons were gone on arrival.
3:54 p.m.--Officers responded to a report of a suspicious package left at City Sports. The object turned out to be a Camera case belonging to a film crew. The owners were located and the object was returned to them.
6:30 p.m.--Judith Green of Washington Street, Somerville, was arrested by CPD at Carlisle Street after confronting her boyfriend, John Martin, and his other girlfriend, Bonnie Wells, as to the status of their relationship. In her anger, she threw a box of beer bottles at Bonnie and a folding chair at John, striking him near his right elbow.
A resident reported to CPD that on Aug. 4, between 12:01 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., employees of Harvard Real Estate and HUPD have been systematically violating his First Amendments Rights.
August 6
12:23 a.m.--HUPD received a party complaint. An officer was sent to the Crimson newspaper building to quiet the party. the officer had partygoers shut the windows and lower the music.
12:40 a.m.--A caller to HUPD stated that a large group had been gathering outside the Crimson newspaper building from a party. An officer was sent to move people along and stood by while the party let out.
3:45 a.m.--A caller to HUPD from Thayer Hall stated that she was in a room with an intoxicated person who needed to go to University Health Services (UHS). The officer transported the party to UHS.
8:40 p.m.--An employee of 100 Cambridge Side P1 stated to CPD that at 8:25 p.m., she received the latest of three threatening calls, in which the caller used movie sound bytes to threaten her with bodily harm.
10:06 p.m.--HUPD officers responded to a call regarding two females who were intoxicated and urinating in public. The parties were gone when officers arrived.
A Cambridge resident reported to CPD that she received two calls from an unknown person who stated that he would be right over. On another occasion, an unknown person stated that he is called Mr. Nasty.
August 7
5 p.m.--A resident of Long Island Shelter, Boston, reported to CPD that he was at the Cambridge Commons when a suspected person with the first name of Terry accused him of insulting his girlfriend. The suspect then became angry and hit him on the left hand with a wooden paddle. A second suspect hit and kicked him. A third suspect chased the reporting person from the park. The victim was treated at Mt. Auburn Hospital.
10:26 p.m.--A HUPD officer responded to a report of some gum stuck to the John Harvard statue. Maintenance was contacted to clean the damage.
11:20 p.m.--A HUPD officer responded to a report of an aggressive, unleashed dog that charged at a passerby. The officer determined that the dog had left the area.
11:26 p.m.--A HUPD officer observed an unoccupied car parked with a door ajar. Fireworks and marijuana were found in the car.
August 8
3:11 a.m.--HUPD officers were dispatched to Peabody Terrace on a domestic dispute call between a brother and a sister.
7:30 p.m.--A resident of Bristol Street reported to CPD that while walking on Hampshire Street, he was almost hit by two Hispanic males riding bikes. The man asked the suspects if they were blind, prompting one suspect to begin swearing and taunting him. One of the suspects flicked a lit cigarette at the man, hitting him above his eye and causing a slight burn. The victim could identify the suspects.
August 9
3:01 a.m.--A group of males were bothering a female. A HUPD officer sent the males away, and the female was given a safety escort to Greenough Hall.
11:11 a.m.--HUPD officers responded to Adams House and recovered abandoned drug paraphernalia.
5:58 p.m.--Three unleashed dogs were running around property in Radcliffe Quad. A HUPD officer responded, and the dogs were removed.
A Boston resident reported to CPD that on Aug. 1, between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., he was involved in an altercation with his son's mother. She was pulling clothing out of his hands.
August 10
A resident of Church Street stated to CPD that a suspect had been sending threatening e-mails to his workplace.
