Sophomore catcher Brian Lentz earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honors during his first weekend of league action.
During the weekend, Lentz hit a combined .529 (9-for-17) with six RBI, two triples and a .765 slugging percentage.
At the end of both games of Harvard's double-header against Cornell Saturday, Lentz knocked in the game-winning RBI. His two-run single in the first inning propelled the Crimson (8-11, 3-1 Ivy) to a 2-1 in the first contest, and his two-run triple at the end of the second game broke and gave Harvard a 9-6 victory.
During the Crimson's first game against Princeton Sunday, Lentz racked up a season-high three hits and led the Crimson to a 6-3 win over the Tigers. He contributed two hits during Harvard's 12-3 loss in the Crimson's second game against Princeton.
