April 1:

9:49 a.m.--The Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) responded to help a person who was locked out on her roof.

2:56 p.m.--Police investigated a 911 hang-up call from William James Hall. The call was unfounded.

April 2:

11:35 a.m.--Police responded to a report of a man down on the Weeks footbridge. The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) transported the individual to a local shelter.

5:52 p.m.--Police received a report of a domestic dispute in the Soldiers Field Park garage. When police responded, the individuals left "abruptly" in their car.

8:17--CPD and HUPD searched for three youths painting graffiti near 45 Mt. Auburn St.

April 3:

8:35 a.m.--Two taxi drivers outside Soldiers Field Park were involved in a dispute. They were both gone when police arrived.

11:35 a.m.--HUPD received a report of shoplifting from CitySports. Police stopped John Lockett, 37, homeless of Cambridge, on Bow Street, who was positively identified by the reporting caller. He was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana and shoplifting.

April 4:

12:14 a.m.--Police found a door to Lehman Hall ajar. Two units checked and secured the building.

9:52 a.m.--A caller reported a suspicious person wandering around the construction site at the Fogg Art Museum. Police responded and removed the individual, although he refused to identify himself.

April 5:

1:08 a.m.--A loud party reported in Mower Hall turned out to be three students playing musical instruments. Police asked them to cease playing.

12:13 p.m.--A car broadsided an HUPD cruiser on Memorial Drive. HUPD units and the Massachusetts State Police both responded to the scene with rescue units. The cruiser sustained major damage, and the officer involved was taken to the hospital. He is continuing to recuperate at home.

7:04 p.m.--Police responded to a dispute in the Kirkland House dining hall involving employees. The matter will be handled internally.

7:15 p.m.--Police received a report of a man in the Yard soliciting students. HUPD stopped him and a check showed an outstanding warrant. Nathaniel Day, 19, of New Bedford, was placed under arrest.
