Forget the throwdowns of yore, FM is tossing midgets to the wind and becoming one big happy family. Add in the groupies and hangers-on and make that one big extended clan. The love-in began over a breakfast of crispitos sometime one early morn. After much consideration, we decided to stop bitching about corruption and image and simply embrace the joys of cohesion. With gusto, FMers gave up all other plans (except maybe mullets) and began to create a life together.

This weekend validated our faith in old-fashioned FM fam fun. Taking Crimson Happy Hour--a revived tradition we at FM heartily endorse--by storm, we then braved the rain to sip tea with the aesthetes and fishies at the Signet. After a brief intermission, FM reconvened for cocktails and some "Cheeseburger in Paradise," which, fyi, doubles as a restaurant in Maui. But even with the maestro in attendance, there were a couple of things missing. Considering the available options, we needed to swell our ranks and hit the town.

Although we failed to convince ancestral FM ed to join in, we picked up some necessary ingredients, worked our connections at the Pudding and kicked up our legs in no time flat. Also on stage: the newest male victim of our fashion dialogue feature, would-be comper Belobaba and the naked guy in As It Were. All of this meta partying got to our heads and we needed a dinner break. Next stop, the Kiznong, and who should be sitting next to us but fashion maven Candie E-E Darling and her flavor of the week?

Gossip Guy took copious notes.

Fatigued from the workweek, FM slowed our collective roll. We broke down and checked e-mail at 14 Plympton, and soon, the time had come to shoot the shit or head for home. Most opted for choice two, for there would be more diversions to come. This issue proves our commitment to fun and games for the whole family. Take on professors for a rousing round of Trivial Pursuit, play the slots at Foxwoods and bet the rest of your cash money at the racetrack. Dust off that hobbyhorse, limber up and get ready for FM playtime.
