Climate Change Issue Won't Go Away

Kudos on devoting precious editorial space ("Time To Stop Global Waffling," Nov. 3) to the topic of global warming, an issue that will continue to court our attention until the U.S. takes resolute and sustained action.

The projected effects of global warming, if allowed to escalate, may be the greatest crime that the inhabitants of the 20th century will perpetrate against future generations. The time for change is now, and we should move quickly to follow Noah's lead: it wasn't raining when he started building the ark.
