Oct. 12:

4:12 a.m.--A security guard at the Holyoke Center garage reported a suspicious person. Officers from the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) responded and removed the man.

11:43 a.m.--A caller reported possible drug use in JFK Park. Officers could not locate anyone using drugs.

7:25 p.m.--HUPD stopped a suspicious person on Grant Street. After a check for outstanding warrants, HUPD arrested William O'Neil, 59, of 523 Washington St., Boston for two default warrants.

11:48 p.m.--One of HUPD's mountain bike officers reported that he had stopped three suspicious men on Cambridge Common. Units were dispatched as backup, and the men were released after an interview.

Oct. 13

8:40 p.m.--HUPD stopped a suspicious person on the second level of Memorial Hall. After checking for warrants, the man was released.

Oct. 14:

4:17 a.m.--HUPD checked on the wellbeing of someone lying on the lawn outside Wolbach Hall. An officer awakened the student and sent him home.

9:09 p.m.--HUPD stopped five suspicious men outside Mather House and checked them for outstanding warrants. Finding none, HUPD released the men.

Oct. 15:

2:56 p.m.--Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near the Blodgett Pool. The cars' owners had gotten into a dispute, and the HUPD officer waited at the scene until the Boston police arrived.

3:01 p.m.--A proctor reported three students throwing water balloons outside Robinson Hall. When officers responded, the students were gone.

11:42 p.m.--A clerk at the Inn at Harvard asked for help dealing with several unregistered guests. HUPD responded and removed the unwanted guests.

Oct. 18:

6:51 p.m.--A caller reported an auto accident at the corner of Western Avenue and Storrow Drive. The Massachusetts State Police arrived.

9:35 p.m.--A caller reported that a section of Divinity Avenue had collapsed. Officers closed the road upon arrival.
