February 20

Cambridge police are searching for suspects who stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise Saturday from the Swiss Watchmakers Store in the Square. Officers found that the front door of the store on 58 Church St. had been smashed in when they were responding to an intrusion alarm just before 5:30 a.m. The store's owner soon arrived, and with police, searched the store. She found a display case smashed open, and dozens of watches stolen. There are no suspects at this time.

February 18

Cambridge resident Tyrone Henderson, 44, was arraigned Thursday on charges of assault with intent to murder. Henderson is accused of assaulting a Somerville man Wednesday night in front of the Store 24 in the Square. The man, whose name police were unable to release, is still recovering from a stab wound. The man told police that Henderson slashed him in the neck after an argument. Henderson's plea was not available.

February 17

On Wednesday, a "breathless" student called the Harvard University Police Department reporting that her laptop computer had been stolen. Just moments before, a security guard on duty reported that he had found a laptop in Sever Hall. The student and her computer were re-united.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Cambridge resident Don C. Buell reported to police that he had fallen on a cement block outside the Cafe Paradiso at the intersection of Eliot and Winthrop Streets. The restaurant's owner was notified, and she removed the block. Buell refused treatment from Professional Ambulance paramedics.

Also on Wednesday, an Eliot House resident reported that a man who had been harassing her threatened to come visit her. Officers responded and spoke with the suspect. He was not arrested.

February 16

On Tuesday, HUPD officers patrolling the Harvard Medical School Campus were called about a report of a "person standing on an urn." Also on Tuesday, a piece of live ammunition was found near the Murr Center at 65 North Harvard St. in Allston. The HUPD is investigating the incident.

February 15

On Feb. 15, an employee of the Body Shop at 1440 Mass Ave. told police she had been assaulted. She said a man entered the store and began a conversation with her. She said he then grabbed her hand, placed it in his, and then put his arm around her waist. When other store employees told the man to leave, the man became angry, according to the police. The employee told police, "this has happened before

On Feb. 15, the CPD was notified that a stab victim had sought treatment at the Cambridge City Hospital. When officers queried the victim, Colbert Warfield, he refused to tell them how he had been stabbed. Later, Warfield's girlfriend told officers that he had stabbed himself in the arm "out of an act of love."
