The following events were listed in the Cambridge Police Department blotter in the past week.
March 5
A Mt. Auburn Street resident reported that while driving on Brattle Street last Friday, he was involved in an altercation provoked by a female making hand gestures while driving a gold BMW. The woman stopped at a traffic light, left her car and started screaming at the victim. When he stated that he was about to call the police, the suspect reached into his vehicle and struck him in the face numerous times and then drove away.
March 6
Between 9:30 p.m. and 10 a.m., unknown persons broke into a second floor office of Antioch Temple Church, 56 Magazine St. A hammer was taken.
A Cambridge resident reported that between 9:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. unknown persons entered a church at 5 Magazine St. and ransacked the entire building. Approximately $5 and a few small hand tools are missing.
March 8
A Boston resident reported that at 11:50 p.m., a man dropped coffee on the floor at the church on Mt. Auburn Street After she cleaned it up, she asked him to pick up the cup. He got mad and said he could choke the life out of her. He appeared intoxicated.
A Harvard Street resident reported that on the previous Tuesday, an unknown intruder entered her apartment and moved a television, trophies and a glass of water. Nothing was taken.
Between 6 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., some unknown person cut down a sweet gum tree from Huron Ave.
At 2:30 a.m., a Reading resident reported that her motor vehicle was stolen from lot 5 on Bishop Allen Drive. The owner notified the Cambridge Police Dept. at 3:10 a.m. that she found her motor vehicle parked in lot 6. The report was canceled.
March 10
At 10:25 a.m., the city's Emergency Control Center was told a bomb would go off in an hour at the Cambridge Rindge Latin School. A check of the building revealed no unusual packages. The call was made by an unknown male from a pay phone at 1 Garden St.
A Prescott Street resident reported that an unknown male has made two phone calls to her while he was masturbating. The phone company has already been notified.
