TIDBITS

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Last Friday night the cast and crew of 'Rumors' faced a gag they weren't really prepared for. As one of the characters was walking offstage, the door he was leaving through fell completely off its hinge, leaving him turning the knob on a large piece of plywood. Nevertheless, the cast coped well, even ad-libbing lines about the dismembered door. By the second act the door had been firmly reattached, and the cast resumed acting out what it had rehearsed.

DRINK UNTIL YOU CAN'T

Undergraduates at last Monday's Leverett Formal were warned that if supervisors caught just one underage drinker at the event, then organizers would stop serving liquor. Needless to say, 30 minutes after the warning, the bar was shut.

A FLY GUY

Bow-ties and sun-hats were reportedly the favored accesories at the Fly Club's annual garden party last Sunday, May 4. Amid the mostly-undergraduate crowd was none other than Massachusetts Governor William F. Weld '66, who appeared to enjoy the party.
