The following events were recorded in the Cambridge Police Department blotter in the past week.
Nov. 26, 1997
An Albany Street resident was arrested at 910 Mass. Ave. for procuring alcohol for a minor. A Cambridge juvenile was also arrested for possessing alcohol.
Nov. 27, 1997
A Mass. Ave. resident reported that he was assaulted by two males while inside the Middle East, a night-club and restaurant located at 494 Mass. Ave.
Nov. 28, 1997
An Arlington resident reported that she was assaulted ay JFK Street and Mt. Auburn Street by a male known to her. She stated that she had been harassed by the man in a Harvard Square bar earlier in the evening.
Nov. 29, 1997
A resident of England reported that an unknown person removed his wallet from his back pocket while he was in Harvard Square.
Nov. 30, 1997
A homeless person reported that her boyfriend slashed her thighs with a razor at about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 29.
A Lincoln Street resident was hit by a blue van as he rode his bicycle on Cambridge Street. The victim suffered large facial and lip cuts, a large bump to the forehead, and lost several teeth.
A Harvey Street resident reported that at 5 p.m. while in the Alewife MBTA station, a man approached him and demanded money. The victim stated that the suspect kept one hand in his pocket as though armed. The victim gave the suspect $50.
A Union Street resident reported that at 7:04 p.m., a group of teenage males looking for his brother rang the doorbell of his home. The teens mistook the resident for his brother and beat him about the head and body with bats. The teens also broke about 10 of the house's windows.
Dec. 1, 1997
A Cambridge resident reports that at 5:20 p.m. suspects exited a backyard carrying baseball bats and began striking him with them.
A Somerville resident reported that he was kicked in the right eye and cheek while at the Porter Square Dunkin' Donuts. The reporting person was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital.
