Reason No. 48 why the Harvard baseball team is turning heads this season: Dennis Doble.
Actually, in all fairness, the senior catcher should probably have a couple of ranks all to himself.
Last week, Doble scorched up the plate to the tune of 11-for-15 in the Crimson's five wins, including the four-game sweep of Dartmouth that gave Harvard the Red Rolfe Division title.
Now Harvard is 22-14 and looking forward to the Ivy Championship Series this weekend. And people like Doble are a big reason why.
Oh yes, and a quick memo to Harvard's yet-to-be-determined opponent: Don't intentionally walk whoever hits in front of him.
