On Sunday, junior forward A.J. Mleczko broke the school record for all-time career points. Mleczko notched the record-setting point with a goal in the Crimson's 7-1 loss to UNH. Mleczko broke the record of Sandra Whyte '92, who had 140 career points.
Despite Mleczko's effort, which includes 25 goals this season, the injury-plagued team has dropped to ninth place in the ECAC and has been eliminated from post-season play.
But Mleczko has persevered through the difficult season and performed admirably.
"She's just an amazing talent," senior Stacy Kellogg says. "[Mleczko] has proven herself as a passer and scorer and team player, and she has the ability to do anything on the ice."
It couldn't have been said any better.
