Sophomore Devon Bingham was in the right place at the right time for the eleventh-ranked women's soccer team on Saturday.
The midfielder scored the game-winning goal against nineteenth-ranked Dartmouth in the 79th minute to give the Crimson a 2-1 victory, the Ivy League title and a birth in the NCAA Tournament.
Overshadowed by such names as Stauffer, Miller and Gudeman for most of the season, Bingham--an unsung hero all season long--has blossomed in her sophomore season.
If Harvard is to advance in the NCAA Tournament, other Crimson players will have to step up as Bingham did last Saturday.
