Okay, okay, so it's a little easy to name a Harvard women's soccer player the Athlete of the Week, because there's never any week when one of them doesn't score a bajillion goals against some overmatched team.
But hey, sometimes you gotta go with the old standby, and this time it's sophomore Naomi Miller. The forward headed in two long passes for goals and assisted on another in Harvard's 3-0 victory over Fairfield Sunday in the Harvard Invitational, giving the Crimson the tournament victory. In the first round on Friday, she scored a goal in the 2-0 defeat of Cornell.
If you're scoring at home, that's three goals and an assist in two games, a total that earned her the title of top point-getter at the Invitational. Not bad numbers; but remember, it's also not out of the ordinary for the Harvard women's soccer team.
