Senior Wins Fay Prize

Reshma Jagsi '95 won Radcliffe's highest undergraduate honor, the Fay Prize, last week.

Jagsi is a straight-A student who plans to attend Harvard Medical School this fall after spending the summer at the White House as a health policy intern.

She also hopes to earn an advanced degree in health policy from either the Kennedy School of Government or the Harvard School of Public Health.

Radcliffe President Linda S. Wilson made the announcement last Wednesday at the Strawberry Tea for graduating women.

The award, which includes a monetary prize and a special Latin diploma is given annually to the graduating senior woman who "has given evidence of greatest promise" by her scholarship, conduct and character.

"Reshma Jagsi represents the highest ideas of the Fay Prize," Wilson said in a press release.

"More than just a stellar student with an almost flawless academic record, Reshma is a true Renaissance woman with interests that span public service, music, writing, teaching and public policy."
