Meet Kelly Granat, the junior co-captain of one of the best-kept secrets on campus.
That's the No. 31 Harvard women's tennis team, which rolled over Princeton and Cornell this weekend with 6-1 scores to improve its record to 11-7 overall, 4-0 Ivy.
Granat played no small part in this. The No,. 5 singles player she won all four of her sets on the weekend (6-3, 6-0 against Princeton; 6-2, 6-0 against Cornell).
But that's not all. For doubles play, Granat teamed up with fellow junior co-captain Kate Roiter to win both of their first doubles matches.
Nor were the Tigers and the Big Red small potatoes. Princeton is the defending Ivy League champion, while Cornell was previously undefeated in Ivy play.
