Due to an editing error, a story in yesterday's paper incorrectly reported that Gina Grant had murdered her mother in 1990. In fact, Grant pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter in 1991, as the article later stated.

Attorney Paul A. Mones's quote in yesterday's paper was inadvertently cut off. It should have read: "There's a big difference between people's cognitive abilities and their emotional abilities." Also, Mones is the author of When a Child Kills.

A story in Thursday paper's misattributed the relationship of Curtis M. Dickson to Grant. Dickson is Grant's maternal uncle.
