Patrick R. Sorrento may like a mere mortal. To us at the Crimson, thought, this man is a saint.
It was such a good lead! So well conceived. Here we have this Crimson Production Supervisor. His name just happens to be partick. And if the shamrock-centric CVS display means anything at all it's Saint OPartick's Day season once again. So why not write about our own saint Patrick?
Pat has spent every production night for the past 27years at 14plympton Street, helping with layout, driving home stranded Quadlings and cheering on Crimson editors with words of encouragement like "Get out of that chair, you ding-dong! You're not doing it right!" and other less printable material.
Over at the Crimson, Sorrento is a cultural hero. A saint, through" I'm far from a saint, believe me," say Pat. "More like a devil than anything else."
So there went our opening note, and with it our great lead.
Times are tough, though, and a good lead is hard to find.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone!
