Athlete of the Week

An unblemished record for a year is a feat. But being perfect for an entire collegiate career is almost unheard of.

Well, that's what Harvard women's sqaush senior co-captain Libby Eynon accomplished. Eynon won every single intercollegiate match during her years at Harvard. In her final match last Wednesday against Yale, Eynon swept her opponent, 3-0, leading the Crimson to a 6-3 victory and the regular season national championship.

Even if Eynon had an off day, she was still unbeatable. And playing in the number-one position means she played the best that the rest of the country had to offer. Eynon led Harvard to its eighth national championship in 12 years and its 34th straight dual match victory. Eynon and the Crimson won the Howe Cup a week ago Sunday by defeating Yale in the final as well.
