The Internet is a surprisingly lewd place. After the recent Crimson article on downloading pornography from the 'Net, FM decided to find out just what Internet resources were available for users interested in erotica. We were only acting in the sake of journalism, of course.

UseNet offers one possible avenue for sexually-minded users--the "news groups" resemble electronic bulleting hoards, where Internet users discuss various topics by posting files such as pictures or sounds by encoding them as a text file; other users can download and decode these binary files for display in the privacy of their own home. As we walked down this dirty boulevard, we gawked and gasped at the width and breadth of sexual appetites.
