The Harvard women's soccer team is only 12 goals away from setting its season record. For that, the Crimson can thank Emily Stauffer more than anyone else.
Even considering the high expectations that were placed on her this year, the sophomore's play has been nothing short of amazing. Scoring three goals and assisting on two others in a 7-0 carpet-bombing of Princeton on Sunday, Stauffer tightened her already iron grip on the top rung of the Ivy League scoring ladder.
This all came after her freshman year, in which she led the team in scoring. Evidently, Stauffer knows not of any sophomore slump.
What else can be said about this rocket launcher? Not too much, besides the fact that she is only a sophomore and probably has her best years in front of her.
Ivy League, take cover.
