I would like to respond to Sarah Scrogin's article of March 14, "Museum Workers Allege Abuses," in which she misquoted me.
First, I have been employed by the Harvard University Art Museums as a security guard since 1985, not 1991.
Second, I never stated that conditions were worse here than at the Post Office or said anything about salary differences.
Third, I said that if I knew I'd still be working all these years since retiring then I probably should have stayed at the Post Office. Scrogin used only the last part of the statement to go with the theme of her article.
Fourth, when I asked Scrogin the reason for the interview, she said it was for an article on the upcoming benefits program at Harvard. Berj Manoukian Harvard University Art Museums Security Guard
