SHARE Is Alive And Doing Well

TO THE EDITORS

I am writing in response to your article entitled "40 Seeking Mediator Posts" (Feb. 26, 1994). In this article, Pankaj Tiwari '95, president of the South Asian Association, mistakenly reported that SHARE (Students at Harvard-Radcliffe Against Racism and Ethnocentrism) had disbanded.

In fact, SHARE is alive and well under Dean of Students Archie C. Epps III. We continue to be one of the most requested peer outreach groups for first-year proctor groups.

SHARE conducts workshops promoting honest discussions and dialogue about race relations and ethnicity not only for first-year proctor groups, but also for various other student groups and organizations.

We encourage all interested students to apply to become workshop facilitators. Applications for next year will be available after spring break at the Bureau of Study Council. Along with the Mediation Service, SHARE remains an integral part of efforts to improve race relations on campus. Garrick Wang '95
