Matthews Basement in the Yard

7 days a week; 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Room 13 has a nightly staff of one male student and one female student. The service allows students to discuss concerns such as academic stress, loneliness, problems with relationships and depression with their peers. All calls are completely confidential.

7 days a week; 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Samaritans are a group trained in dealing with people thinking about suicide or feeling lonely and depressed. A 24-hour hotline is provided and all calls are confidential.

University Health Services Mental Health Services 495-2042

Holyoke Center, third floor

Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Mental Health Services has a staff of psychiatrists and psychologists trained to help depressed or emotionally troubled students to resolve their problems. Records are kept separate from medical records and are confidential.
