Students returning from Thanks-giving with their families were treated to a brief snowfall last night.
About 15 first-year students gathered in front of Holworthy and Stoughton Halls to celebrate the five-minute snowfall.
"The people in my entryway played football in the falling snow," said Rachel J. Nash '98.
Students said they enjoyed coming together with entrymates to enjoy the stinging flakes.
"This is the first time I've seen the whole entryway together since the introductory meeting," said Ryan S. McKittrick '98.
Last night's was the second snow-fall this year.
The first snow fell last Wednesday, but many students had already left campus to spend Thanksgiving at home.
Some students welcomed the snow.
"I was happy to see snow again, after last year's maelstrom blizzard which kept me out of school for January," said Chris Paul '98. "I like snow, I always have."
"It made me feel young again," Nash said.
Other students were disappointed by the sparseness of the snow.
"It wasn't really real snow, so I'm looking forward to when real snow happens," said Gene F. Civillico '98.
