The Harvard men's lacrosse team (1-3 overall, 0-2 Ivy) limited another opponent to single digits yesterday, but failed to produce on the offensive end, as Pennsylvania bumped off the Crimson, 7-3, in Philadelphia, Pa.
It started off promising enough, when junior midfielder Chris Pillsbury tallied 52 seconds into the game.
But the Quakers rattled off four straight goals in the next three periods to break away for good.
The Crimson actually outshot the Quakers (30-24), but the lone spark proved again to be senior midfielder Paul Faust. The co-captain continued his impressive offensive production, scoring two goals in the second half.
Junior Ryan Taylor and freshman Vern Briggs each notched two goals for the Quakers in the victory.
